2 CHICKAMAUGA battlefield reunions brochures: issued by the QUEEN AND CRESCENT ROUTE RAILROAD, before the Southern Railway took over. This line was originally known as the C.NO & TP RR, built by and still owned in 2020 by the City of Cincinnati (the Queen City). First flyer, made in railroad timetable style, was for the 47th National Encampment of the GRAND ARMY OF THE REPUBLIC, Chattanooga. Sept. 15-20, 1913, Semi-Centennial. Some red and blue ink used. Fold out map of the city and battlefield and then a smaller close up fold out of the city. Their is a sharp tear at a fold on the outside and a couple of small dog ears but all info is readable. 4” x 9”. 28 pages or so. The second brochure, same occasion of the 50th anniversary of the famous Civil War battle at Chickamauga covers the POINTS OF INTEREST along the Q & C Route RR. A fabulous 15 x 15 color map of the battle field is included along with descriptions of the battle, day by day. There is a small section about points along the railroad. Like the other one, there are a few small tears but all info is intact and readable. Both brochures included in this lot.
