A Federal giltwood and églomisé banjo clockAaron Willard (1757-1844), Boston, MA, circa 1820L: 41 3/4 in. W: 10 1/4 in. D: 4 in.

Condition

includes pendulum, winding key; evidence of multiple restoration campaigns- pencil inscriptions to interior of eglomise door listing restoration done in 1867, and probably restoration done in 20th century; eglomise probably redone; gilding redone- repaired break to bottom, with probable replaced acorn drop; repaired breaks to eagle finial; velcro attached to top of clock and bottom of eagle finial for ease in removing finial for transportation, etc.
