A MEISSEN BLUE ONION SWEETMEAT SHELL FORM DISH, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS AND PAINTER'S MARKS, PRESSENUMMER 40, INCISED W95, 19TH CENTURY, modeled as a double shell form dish centering an arched loop handle and traditionally painted within a border rim of serpentine vine and palm fans, interior bowls and underside having blue crossed swords.
