A CHINESE BRASS AND GLASS FRAMED HEXAGONAL THREE-SECTIONED LUNCH OR "TIFFIN" MEAL BOX, SECOND HALF 20TH CENTURY, the channeled and stepped rectangular handle suspending a detachable cylindrical brass cup, a lidded hexagonal container and a lidded cigarette pack form box, flanking a top section with pierced circular cash symbols enclosing four geometric shaped containers with hanging brackets, above a taller mid section centering paired doors with matching cash details and glass window sides, over the base warming section with hinged door for loading coal/charcoal, raised on a modern conforming wood stand with four brass casters. Height: 28" Diameter: 15"
Condition
In overall good to very good condition with expected slightly bent areas, light surface marks, polish residue, smudges and small oxidized spots scattered throughout, wear commensurate with age and use.
