AN ANCIENT EGYPTIAN STYLE FAIENCE SHABTI, AFTER THE LATE PERIOD (664-332 BC), in the Saite or 26th Dynasty taste, the blue faience with a sweet countenance; the figure looks outward, holding crook and flail in crossed arms, over a single cartouche, carved with a decipherable hawk of Horus and a "Ms," or born symbol, among other hieroglyphs. Height: 4 1/4"
