Description
A GROUP OF THREE ANTIQUE CUT GLASS DECANTERS, 19TH/20TH CENTURY, from tallest to shortest and comprising one of trumpet form with sides centering flower buds and leafy stems decoration above a ring of thumbprint details, topped by a matching stopper; one of transparent green glass bottle form and a flaring rim on a short neck and faceted knob, above panel cut sides centering a gilt landscape of flamingos foraging in a watery estuary, topped by an associated panel-cut conical glass stopper; a nautical themed trumpet form decanter with an engraved and etched three masted whaling ship with crow's nests beneath billowing banners, over and underside with cut starburst detail, topped by a matching flat topped stopper centering a cut starburst. Tallest Height: 14 1/4"
Condition
The transparent green glass decanter has interior white buildup, light surface wear, scratches mostly on underside, worn areas of gilding and an associated stopper, the remaining two clear glass decanters have some interior cloudiness but have original stoppers and are overall in good to very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
