"Small wonder if the world received Don Quixote with delight! There was nothing like unto it before: there has been nothing to eclipse it since". – Rius, D. Leopoldo.
A rare Civil War-era American edition of Cervantes’ masterpiece – “Don Quixote”. This work is one of the most famous pieces of literature and is one of the most popular adventure tales to be written. This edition was translated into English by Charles Jervas – it was praised as the most accurate English translation through the 18th-century.
