"Last Flight From Rabaul" by Jay Ashurst (14 x 21", professionally matted and framed to 20 x 26"). A multicolor limited edition lithograph (No. 338/1000) depicting two Mitsubishi "Zero" aircraft departing the large Japanese WWII Airbase on the Island of Rabaul. The lithograph is pencil-signed by the artist (in English) and by the pilot Saburo Sakai, the highest scoring Japanese ace to survive World War II(in Japanese). Attractive.
