An English brass bound wooden peat moss bucket with curved rim, tubular copper swing handle, and brass grip for pouring and likely hollowed out from a log as the wood frame is all 1 piece of wood with a wood base that is chamfered into the sides, 18th/19th century - note 2 expansion cracks in frame, but overall good condition - 12"W x 14 3/4"L x 11"H to top of rim. Provenance: From a retired local physician's collection, downsizing and moving to smaller quarters.
