A silver-mounted oak walking stick made from a wood girder from Independence Hall, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania dated, "1855" The silver top engraved, "A piece of one of the girders of Independence Hall/ Phila--built 1721/ Jacob W. Colladay to his brother J. L. Colladay 1855".L: 34 in.
Condition
Scattered small dents and scuffs to top and sides of silver cap . Also some wear to decorative chasing to sides. Shaft with some discoloration and wear, dents and wear to ferrule.
