Joseph Lonewolf for White Mesa Mint Sterling Coin. Joseph Lonewolf was a Native American potter from Santa Clara Pueblo, New Mexico, United States. He was known for his use of historical methods and his development of sgraffito and bas-relief techniques used a nail filed to a point as his main carving tool. Made by the White Mesa Mint in New Mexico. The coin was minted for the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center in 1976. The obverse features an eagle and pueblo cloud designs along with the words "Indian Pueblo Cultural Center" and "1976". Diameter: 38 mm; Weighs 34 gr. The Board of Directors of White Mesa Incorporated certify the enclosed coin to contain no less than 500 grains of sterling silver. Original Box.
