Document with Stamped Signature, along with the signature of the Gideon Welles, Secretary of the Navy. A Single engraved vellum sheet approx. (16 X 19.5 ), finished in manuscript. Official U.S. Government Naval Commission document for the appointment of a Mr. Henry T. Wright to the position of Passed Assistant Paymaster, dated July 23, 1866. With large ornamental vignettes of the American Eagle at top and military flags and regalia at bottom. Embossed paper seal affixed.

Condition
