King Albert pattern an assembled set variously marked for Whiting and Gorham, comprising: 12 hollow steel-bladed knives, 12 dinner forks, 14 luncheon forks, 12 oyster forks, 12 salad forks, 11 teaspoons, 11 oval soup spoons, 11 round soup spoons, 12 bouillon spoons, 7 iced tea spoons, 12 demitasse spoons, 12 ice cream forks, 12 flat butter knives, 4 tablespoons, 1 ladle, 1 serving spoon, 1 sugar spoon, and 1 jelly server [158 pieces], 145 troy ounces; together with 19 additional pieces of silver and silverplate in various mis-matched patterns by various makers, comprising ten serving pieces marked for sterling, eight silver-plated salt spoons, and a pair of silver-plated tongs Condition: handle of one oval soup spoon bent. Each piece monogrammed "C". General tarnishing and scratches. The extra, mismatched pieces are not included in the count or weight. The canteen is associated. Note: The Whiting and Gorham pieces match exactly. Whiting was acquired by Gorham in 1924.
