this is the largest and earliest Bradley zoetrope sometimes referred to as a Parlor Zoetrope to distinguish it from the smaller toy models made by Bradley, it is offered with a group of 9 original double sided lithographed animation strips - some factory hand colored and some black and white, including a number of classic early zoetrope images (to see examples of some of the included strips in action go to the following site on the web - http://www.dickbalzer.com/Flash_Gallery_Strips.366.0.html) along with 3 partial strips and a double sided 6 panel sheet of smaller size strips published as a supplement in the Boston Sunday Herald for use in a zoetrope one could purchase from the Herald for 5¢ (the strips are complete but the panel they are printed on is split in two)
