The brooch was created by Tiffany in 1996 and has an extraordinary design depicting a crab, symbolizing the treasures of the sea world. The brooch was masterfully crafted of solid platinum and is embellished with approximately 2.75ctw genuine VS1-VS2/F-G pave set diamonds. The crab is then finished with a genuine 13.5mm South Sea pearl between its claws, showing wonderful attention to detail and adding a realistic touch to the sea life aesthetic. The piece is signed "Tiffany & Co. 1996" along with the metal content "PT950". This is a rare, retired piece which is incredibly hard to find as it is no longer in production.
