Two Russian canes Various dates late 19th/early 20th century The first a Russian silver and mahogany walking stick, the silver handle inset with quartz, the silver marked with an 84 mark and maker's mark HJ in Cyrillic, St. Petersburg, 1882-1899; and the second a Russian silver or silver-plate mounted rock crystal and hardwood cane, the rock crystal handle in the form of a duck head, with brass ferrule, the silver apparently unmarked, with extensive repair to handle. (2).L: 36 in. (longest) PROVENANCE: The collection of award-winning independent film director Larry Clark, New York.
