An African Cameroon Ngil Fang carved mask painted with natural pigments of bright orange, yellow, and blue with black and white outlines. The elongated face features small cut out eyes, exaggerated nose, and small lower mouth with chin. The mask was used in secret societies to initiate new members and the persecution of wrongdoers.

Condition

Very good condition with minor wear commensurate with age and handling.
