SANTA CLARA, BLACK POLISHED SEED POT by "JoPo" ca. 1950 Condition: Excellent Mark: It has pencil marks, "JoPo" above "SANTA CLARA". There is a Josephine Poncho in 2,000 Artist Biographies, but she is Laguna, does polychrome, and I don't think she is the potter. Description: Small, elegant, perfectly shaped black polished pot. The small opening at the top would allow seed storage and keep the seeds protected from the elements and from pests. Note: The seller purchased this at the annual art museum charity sale in San Francisco. 2"d x 1.25"h.
