Antique English Cretonne Fabric – Dressed Window

Item Details

Description

This fabric is well documented and in Printed Textiles by Linda Eaton p357. It is a dressed window with eagle holding the swags of curtains, between a pair of Chinese vases. You can see through the window and there is a lake with a couple on a boat. I have not seen the print in multi colors before, usually it is just blue, red, green. This is red and blue. 26in (selvedge width) by 34 in.

Condition

Condition is fair. It is seamed through the middle. Small hole in corner.
