Transitional diamond pattern Navajo regional rug, c 1900.Possibly Crystal or Ganado. This bold rug features very finely serrated diamonds on a strong red field. Excellent condition with good ends and edges. Abundant lazy line. A dye lot change in the yarns evident over one third of the rug, but the difference is subtle. One tiny darker residual spot.
