Description
VERY EARLY BLACK DUCK by Harry V. Shourds, Tuckerton, NJ, (1861-1920), circa 1900. Areas of paint remaining, with some possibly original. Paint worn to wood in areas. Very good structural condition consistent with age. Typical hairline crack at neck. Hollow construction. Poured lead weight and rigging. Retains the "H.W. CAIN" brand from Atlantic City, NJ.
