Description
A lot 12 ancient coins, Central Asia. The majority of the group contains silver Drachms of the Shahis king Samanta Deva, c. AD 850 - 970, from Kabul. The feature a stylized horse with rider and a stylized recumbent zebu. Average 17mm in diameter. The last coin is an AE-20mm of Lilavati Massa, Ceylon, 1197 - 1210. All in nice condition! Ex Petersen-Neubauer family collection, Los Angeles.
