Description
A group of 5 Roman-Egyptian objects. Lot includes a pair of faience papyrus sceptre amulets, Late Period, c. 664 - 30 BC, a serpentine scaraboid-shaped bead from the same period, a Roman green glass pendant, c. 1st - 4th Century AD, with large suspension loop and nice iridescence and last a Roman ring stone, c. 1st - 2nd Century AD, with male head facing to left, carved in nice style. Largest measures 43 mm in length. A nice mixed group! Ex collection of Norma Goldman (1922-2011), Classics Professor at Wayne State University, acquired during the 1960's-70's.
