An ungraded Topps "Double Header" series card that folds and portrays two different players with statistics. The 66 card set features 132 players and portrays an entire stadium when all cards of the set are placed side by side. Jim Gilliam was a second baseman, third baseman, and coach in Negro league and Major League Baseball who spent his entire major league career with the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers. He was named the 1953 National League Rookie of the Year, and was a key member of ten National League championship teams from 1953 to 1978. As the Dodgers' lead off hitter for most of the 1950s, he scored over 100 runs in each of his first four seasons and led the National League in triples in 1953 and walks in 1959. Upon retirement, he became one of the first African-American coaches in the major leagues. Ellis Kinder made debut as a 31-year-old rookie, Kinder had a reputable career. He is one of few pitchers in baseball history who won or saved a combined total of at least 200 games, and who were primarily starters for at least a third of their career. Kinder was among the best starting pitchers in the American League in 1949, going 23-6 and leading the league in shutouts (6) and a .793 winning percentage, with a 130 adjusted ERA. In his 12-year career, Kinder compiled a 102-71 record with 749 strikeouts, a 3.43 ERA, 56 complete games, 10 shutouts, 102 saves, and 1479.2 innings pitched in 484 games.
