Description
These two items that were removed from the Apollo 11 Lunar Module 'Eagle' before the Launch to the moon. First, there is a vintage TODAY Souvenir sheet with a large sample of crystals measuring almost 1 1/2" in diameter. These sheets are seldom seen and includes a detailed information sheet from Grumman on the procedure. The second item is an almost 2" square of Kapton Foil that was removed to do another repair. The Kapton Foil is taped to a COA from Lee Brandt, the man who removed this from the LM-5. Both items were removed from the Lunar Module just days before launch and are some of the only items from the Lunar Module 'Eagle' left on earth. These items were not flown. These items are in wonderful condition with expected handling wear. The TODAY has some edge and corner dings.
