AN ANTIQUE CONTINENTAL ORMOLU MOUNTED EBONIZED SECRETARY CABINET, POSSIBLY AUSTRIAN, THIRD QUARTER 19TH CENTURY, the shaped arch cornice with conforming engine-turned trim centering a stylized foliate "C" scrolled cartouche bronze within trailing side pendants, above a frieze enclosing a similarly cast mount over paired and glazed doors with gilt encadrements, partitioned by a panel with floral detailed gilt bronzes and opening to a mirror-backed two glass shelf interior, above three brass Boulle inlaid drawers of premier partie on a short red leather writing surface, over two similarly inlaid drawers decorated as one with a pair of associated bronze handles and flanked by rectangular block form marguerite mounts, raised on tapering circular fluted legs with leafy chandelle pendants and joined by a stylized "X" form stretcher centering a lidded urn form finial.
