AN ITALIAN BAROQUE REVIVAL GILT METAL MOUNTED ROUGE GRIOTTE AND NOIR BELGE MARBLE OPEN ESCAPEMENT CLOCK, VINCENTI & CIE., CLOCKWORKS, FRENCH, EARLY 20TH CENTURY, the circular drum clock face with beveled window opening to reveal an enameled dial painted with black Arabic numerals and centering an open anchor escapement mechanism and dual key chambers, upheld by red pietra dura inlaid medallion end rolling pin scrolls, over an ormolu-mounted wide beveled pendulum window above a Neo-Grec stylized mask mount, flanked by ormolu twisted Corinthian columns, raised on a cavetto molded plinth base, the clockworks with a pastille, "Medaille d'Argent, Vincenti & Cie., 1855," and numbers 3438 10-10; together with a pair of black marble tazzas on coordinating bases with like twisted Corinthian columns on stepped bases. Height: 20 1/2" Width: 16 1/2" Depth: 6 1/2" Provenance: Lifelong Collection of Clocks and Antiques, Navasota, Texas.
