DSP. Wow! What an outstanding example of this beautiful sign from Gulf No-Nox Ethyl Gasoline. Side one shows outstanding color & gloss, with practically no wear in the field whatsoever. The colors are bright and glossy, and side one shows only one area of chipping at the right edge which appears to be from storage. Side two also shows outstanding color & gloss, with a super clean field showing only a couple of very faint paper marks, as well as one small chip at the outer left edge of the sign. This is most likely a New Old Stock sign that was sat on its side causing the minor edge chip. The color and gloss is outstanding, and this is a tough to improve upon example of this sign. Sign is mounted in an original lollipop stand with wagon wheel base. A beautiful piece of early Gulf Advertising.
