Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 4th century CE. A colorful and wearable necklace constructed with dozens of petite tubular and seed-form beads in hues a variety of vibrant hues. The necklace bears primarily white and blue beads near the knotted strand terminals with the body exhibiting beads in blue, green, red, white, black, yellow, and citrine hues. A gorgeous accessory that is sure to accentuate any outfit. Size (necklace): 28.75" L (73 cm); (largest bead): 0.55" L (1.4 cm)

Condition
Strung in modern times and wearable as shown. Glass beads are ancient and stringing is modern. Minor nicks and abrasions to some beads, otherwise intact and very good. Smooth patina throughout.
