Description
After Benjamin West, 19th Century engraving of William Penns "Treaty with the Indians" depicting the "Treaty of Shackamaxon in 1681 with "Tamanend" the Indian Chief of the "Delaware Indians" "Turtle Clan" in Pennsylvania. This engraving was published in 1775 by John Boydell. The dimensions are, 24" long and 19" tall. The frame is, 32 1/2" long and 27 1/2" tall, the frames border is 2" deep. The work exhibits foxing throughout the edges and two small tears that have been repaired on the bottom edge. Not inspected out of the frame.
