Large handwritten English vellum indenture dated 1612 during the reign of King James I being the conveyance of a farm in the county of Southampton between Roger Langrish and John Peye, both Gentlemen. Nicely penned with large initial letter, in English. Signed at bottom and on verso. Fine red wax pendant seal. Fine condition, small natural vellum hole, measures 22 x 17.5".
