Liberace had special rooms designed around themes. One theme was his \"Safari Room\" at his Los Angeles penthouse. The room had animal print wallpaper, artwork and safari type animals, one being this baby giraffe. It was purchased at auction several years ago in Palm Springs as an added attraction to the Safari Room. It appears to be entirely of brass and copper and is in a resting position. It does need some repairs, places that show brass lifting and some breaks in the soldering. Approx measures 50 1/2\" tall, 50\" long and 30\" wide. It was purchased at auction in 1987 for $3000. This is a big piece!
