This iconic 1959 Philco Predicta Debutante TV was designed by Severin Jonassen and Richard Whipple. This Predicta model TV was first introduced by Philco in 1958 as the first of several portable television models produced in the late 1950's. This Predicta Princess tabletop TV was marketed for women, particularly the homemaker who could adjust the position of her TV while doing housework. This TV does work with old fashioned rabbit ear antennas. The screen measures 17" and the entire unit measures 24.5" long x 10" deep x 24" tall. Bottom of TV has two rubber feet missing.
