Pair of 19th c. Chinese Famille Rose Baluster Form Floor Vases, possibly made for the French market, with paneled enameled figural scenes surrounded by medium blue ground with gilt floral, butterflies, and scholar's tool decoration, gilded rims, white glazed foot, unmarked, 24 1/2" high, 9" diam. One vase has a hairline crack; gilding losses esp. at rims, glaze losses at base edges, minor enameling losses.
