1950 stellte Fritz Meyer seine Neucaflex (von Franz Robert Neubert) bei ELOP (Elektro Optische Werke GmbH) vor, mit der Idee eine verbesserte Variante (die Uniflex) in Serie zu bringen. Die 1951 in UCA umbenannte Firma stellte jedoch die Produktion nach Patentstreitigkeiten mit Leitz, Neubert und Steinheil rasch wieder ein. Mit UCALUX 1:1.9/5 cm V Nr. 100358.

Dabei: Kopie der Deutschen Patentschrift Nr. 1059282 vom 09. Oktober 1953.

In 1950 Fritz Meyer brought his Neucaflex (by Franz Robert Neubert) to the attention of ELOP (Elektro Optische Werke GmbH), with the idea of bringing an improved version (the Uniflex) into series production. The company, which was renamed UCA in 1951, quickly ceased production after patent disputes with Leitz, Neubert and Steinheil. With UCALUX 5 cm f/1.9 V Nr. 100358.
