Official NASA Photo of the Apollo 8 Moon View, from December 1968 , Slabbed by PSA as "Authentic Type 1". Photo size, 8" x 10", slabbed to 9.75" x 13.25". Near fine.
The nearly full moon as photographed from the Apollo 8 spacecraft at a point above 70 degrees east longitude. This is the first whole moon photograph from a point above the eastern limb.
