Jack Lord's Personally Owned Blue Corona Hardside Suitcase Acquired From Lord Estate Auction W/Copy of Invoice - This large blue hardside suitcase by Corona was personally owned by actor Jack Lord, who was best known for his starring role as "Steve McGarrett" in the CBS television program, "Hawaii Five-O", which ran from 1968 to 1980. The luggage was acquired by author and collector, Sue McCasland, who purchased the luggage from the 2007 Jack Lord estate auction of personal memorabilia on Ebay, the proceeds of which benefited several Hawaiian charities. McCasland was a well known collector during the 1970s and 80s and worked at the Elvis Presley Birthplace in Tupelo, Mississippi. During her lifetime she met and spent time with celebrities such as Elvis and Roy Rogers, and wrote the books "Elvis Now Ours Forever" and "World's Best Kept Secret: Elvis - live at Sahara Tahoe". The suitcase has an orange sticker near the handle with Jack Lord's address information handwritten. It will come with a (redacted) copy of the Ebay invoice. It will also come with a copy of a letter from the Personal Trust department of the First Hawaiian Bank listing "Jack Lord's Luggage, Playbills and Photographs." Measurements: 36"L x 23"H x 10"D.
