Dogon people, Mali. An uncommon find, a horse resembling a child's toy but is in fact a horse used by a dancer in a village ceremony. Wood, metal, horse hair. 40" H, 49" H with custom-made steel stand.
This authentic African Tribal Sculpture has been examined by Near Infrared (NIR) spectroscopy and is approximately 135 years old. A certificate of the examination will accompany the artwork.
