1934 $100 Green Seal Federal Reserve Note, Philadelphia Grades. Series of 1934 green seal $100 bills were signed by W.A. Julian as the Treasurer of The United States and by Henry Morgenthau Jr. as the Secretary of the Treasury. Series of 1934 one hundred dollar bills have a picture of Benjamin Franklin on the front and Independence Hall on the back. All series of 1934 one hundred dollar bills were printed in Washington DC. However, they were issued for all twelve Federal Reserve districts. The twelve districts are Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Richmond, Atlanta, Chicago, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Dallas, and San Francisco. Series of 1934 one hundred dollar bills with a green seal are called Federal Reserve Notes. As such they have the following nomenclature on them: “This Note Is Legal Tender For All Debts, Public And Private, And Is Redeemable In Lawful Money At The United States Treasury, Or At Any Federal Reserve Bank.” And “Federal Reserve Note The United States Of America Will Pay To The Bearer On Demand One Hundred Dollars” – “The United States of America One Hundred Dollars” Remember that nothing from 1934 will ever say “In God We Trust”.
