Description
A group of two Chinese famille rose porcelain footed dishes. Probably late 19th century. Both white ground with famille rose enamel and gilt rim on raised foot with scalloped rim. Illegible four character stamp on base. ++ Two children playing on interior with women in a landscape holding a peach and inscription on exterior. 2 3/4" x 10 3/4" x 8". ++ Interior depicting women reading in a landscape with inscription to upper left. 2 1/8" x 10 1/2" x 8".Condition: Glaze popes. Wear to the pattern/ gilt and enamel loss.Provenance: From the collection of Anna Chennault (Chen Xiangmei).
