WW II Period US Postal Stamps of Twenty One Individual Pieces with 50 Stamps, 6 First Day Issue Cachets; cachets include two (2) issued by The Evening and Sunday Star newspaper celebrating V E Day, one of these still holds the commemorative card with the comments of James Waldo Fawcett. All postmarks date between 1942 and 1945. The lot includes a bi-fold brochure for patriotic envelops from Gimbels Famous Stamp Department. There are five (5) blocks of un-canceled stamps (total of 26 stamps), all remaining stamps are canceled. All items are in very good condition, please examine the attached photos closely for complete inventory and condition.
