James Fee (1949-2006) was a prominent member of the Los Angeles California Contemporary Art scene in the 1990s until his death. He created lushly manipulated or highly contrasted prints that emphasize the path of decline in the life cycle. They are not sentimental prints of the greatness of youth and the past but are flashes of memory of youth and hope.
