Description
1952, World Series game between the Brooklyn Dodgers and the New York Yankees. Johnny Mize was having a great game having hit three home runs. In the 11th inning, he was well on his way to hitting his fourth when Carl Furillo made the leap of the game to rob Mize of one more. Furillo saved that game for Brooklyn. In the end, the defending champion Yankees won the series, but these two players probably remembered that game for years. These baseballs have been signed by each player and have been kept in these small lucite ball holders.
