Cunard Line RMS "Lucania" by Edward John Russell (1832-1906). Signed lower right and dated 99', watercolor on paper framed in In lemon gold mold frame, matted and glazed. Painting is of the Lucania ship passing an American Sailing Ship heading in the opposite direction in heavy seas. Dimensions: Approximately 23 inches (w) by 30 inches (h).Activein Massachusetts, New Brunswick / Canada, Edward John Russell was known for his landscape, portrait and marine-ship painting, political cartoons.
