Description
"Paradise Palm" is an original signed oil painting by Jack Lee McLean (1924 - 2003). Known for his paintings of intense western scenes and landscapes, McLean was also a successful commercial artist with several of his pieces being reproduced into popular limited-edition prints. A painter from British Columbia, Jack’s original works as well as his prints have been exhibited in various galleries including the Hambleton Galleries & Harrison Galleries in Canada. “Paradise Palm” is a very unique painting as it is not a typical landscape, such as the western scenes McLean is known for. Painting depicts a tropical landscape with a palm tree in the forefront. Painting is signed by Jack on bottom center of painting. Oil on canvas in wood frame. Measurements: Painting is 20" (w) X 24" (h) and frame is approximately 22 1/2" (w) X 26 1/2" (h). 1% of hammer price for all items sold at Masters of Art Volume II Art Series Auction will be donated to the Humane Society.
