Two part table lamp (easy to convert back to oil) with embossed leave and oval medallions over a support with embossed scrolling leaves and floral medallions. Bulbous section with four embossed heads bordering heavily engraved flowering branches resting on an embossed wreath on gadroon border. Oil anister has heavily embossed flowers over a floral border. Below a round section with raised embossed monkies and squirrels on a heavily embossed scrolling flowers and leaves, over a gadroon border on round base. Plate reads J. CH. Riebel Faber, De Lampes, Strasbourg, Bas-Rhin. Lamp has a cut corner inverted bell shade and rests on heavily embossed scrolled tril legged base. Circa 1880. 22h x 13d x 31h
