Description
A lot of three Near Eastern stamp seals, c. 1000 - 600 BC, the first a hematite seal in the form of a swan with a star motif incised on base, 10 x 10 mm, the second a scaraboid with horned antelope on the base, 13 x 11 mm, and the last in red steatite with horned antelope on base and red museum numbers around the edges, 10 x 11.5 mm. The first with small suspension loop and the latter two drilled lengthwise for suspension. Ex Peter Cheremisinoff collection, NJ.
