Description

Standard glaze ewer with nasturtiums painted by Anna Marie Valentien in 1889. Marks include the Rookwood logo, which indicates the date, shape 433, an impressed S for Sage green clay, an incised L for Light Standard glaze and Ms. Valentien’s incised initials. There is faint, scattered crazing, a short firing separation on the bottom and some glaze scratches. Height is 6 7/8 inches.
