This lot consists of a fine art print on paper, done in the Impressionist style of Auguste Renoir (French, 1841-1919). Signed "Renoir" in plate at lower left. This framed, museum-quality piece measures approximately 14.5" x 11.5". Image sight measures approximately 5" x 3.25".

In this handsome etching, two young girls sit in a comfortable space. Their wide-brimmed hats and flowing hair make for a sweet and sentimental image.

Reverse side of piece features an affixed label which reads, "J.J. Gillespie Co. Fine Arts. 306 Seventh Avenue. Pittsburgh, Penna."

Auguste Renoir was born February 25, 1841 in Limoges, France. He was a leading member of the Impressionists. His work is characterized by a richness of feeling and a warm response to the world we live in.
