Thomas H. Willis (1850-1925, English), "Ship's Diorama of the Robin Hood," 19th c., of a three masted schooner, cloth and oil on canvas, titled lower left, signed in monogram "TW" lower right presented in a natural mahogany frame, H.- 19 1/2 in., W.- 33 1/2 in. Provenance: from the Estate of Gertrude "Peggy" Logan Simpson Howcott, New Orleans, LA.
Condition
Sails are yellowed. Some brown spots to rigging. Thread details are perfect.
